HOW DO I GET THERE?

WHERE CAN I PARK?
There is plenty of free on-street parking near the studio.
IS EAST LAKE AIKIDO STUDIO ACCESSIBLE?
East Lake Aikido is generally accessible though there is a slight one-inch rise to get from the floor onto the studio matts. Let me know if you have specific accessibility needs or requests.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
You can feel free to wear anything that is comfortable. Generally clothing that is not too loose or too tight is helpful. The temperature at the studio can be variable depending on the season and it can be helpful to wear or bring layers for your comfort. There is a bathroom for you to change clothes before and/or after class if you'd like.
DO I NEED TO BRING A MAT?
The flooring at East Lake Aikido is made of firm but forgiving tatami mat which is a great surface for Feldenkrais. Most often people practice on a quilted moving blanket which are provided for you. Any other bolsters or props required for the lesson will also be provided for you. You are always welcome to bring your own mats, props, etc if you prefer.
